Introduction
The biennial meeting of the Scandinavian Society of Forest Economics will be a joint conference with the 3rd Berkeley-KVL conference on Natural Resource Management focusing on recent accomplishments and current trends in forest and nature resources management.
The Scandinavian Society of Forest Economics (SSFE) was established in 1958. The first meeting was at the Agricultural University of Norway at Aas. Ever since the Society has met almost every second year.
The conference is also part of the collaboration agreement between the University of California at Berkeley, Oregon State University and KVL.

To register for the conference and accommodation, please return the enclosed registration form and a titel of the paper including an abstract (max. 150 words) to KVL no later than February 15, 2002.
For accommodation the choice is between single and double rooms, placed in chalets. Single room will cost approximately DKK 681/night, double room approximately DKK 570/night. The board cost is app as follows (Excl. Beverages):

- May 23 (Incl. Banquet): DKK 594
- May 25: DKK 142
Participation fee is DKK 900.
The costs of proceedings and the excursion depend on grants raised.
Publication
The participants are given two options. All papers may be published in the Proceedings Scandinavian Forest Economics vol. 39 or authors may opt for publication in a potential reviewed book “Forest and Nature Resource Management – Recent Accomplishments and Current Trends” in the Klüwer Academic Publishers Forestry Sciences Series.
