The Forest Policy Working Group of the Scandinavian Society of Forest Economics (SSFE) will organise a forest policy workshop in Saariselkä, Finnish Lapland together with the Finnish Forest Research Institute (Metla) and the University of Helsinki, Department of Forest Economics.
The purpose of the workshop is to increase information change in the field of forest and related policy research with special emphasis to enhance the integration of young researchers into the research community. Forest policy research may include various topics and apply different methodologies.
There is no participation fee, but the participants are expected to cover travel costs, lunch and accommodation costs themselves.
After the workshop, the participants are encouraged to participate in the IUFRO Division VI Symposium: Integrative Science for Integrative Management. Note, that a separate registration is needed for the symposium.
